The CambridgeToday, a local news outlet, created a feature story on the Churchill Basketball Team from Kinbridge Community Association! This group pitched their project for the Youth Impact Project and received $9,500 to make their idea a reality. Their plan: restore their neighbourhood basketball court so it’s safe, accessible, and fun for everyone.
This group has been in discussions with the City of Cambridge. The Churchill outdoor court restoration was approved as part of the 2025 budget at $400,000 to be shared with another outdoor court restoration project in Hespeler.
