At the Voting Member Meeting on February 13, Matthew Chandy, Director of Economic Development at the Region of Waterloo, introduced a proposal to move Smart Waterloo Region (SWR) under the CYPT. CYPT Voting Members have officially endorsed this change.
For a one-year pilot, the current remaining SWR staff, Play Lead (Jahmeeks Beckford) will join the CYPT Backbone Team. We will keep all CYPT members up to date on changes as they develop.
