Parents/guardians can call EarlyOn Child and Family Centres to access evidence-based child development and parenting information and resources; to re-learn the tune or words to a favourite children’s song; or to learn more about the supports and resources available to you and your family throughout Waterloo Region during the COVID-19 pandemic. Kids Help Phone
Kids and teens 18 and younger
who need to talk to someone about their mental health (or anything else!) can call 1-800-668-6868 or text “CONNECT” to 686868, for 24/7 support. No judgement, totally private, 24/7. Adults can text WELLNESS to 741741.

 

Parenting Now
Parents/guardians can send an email via the Parenting Now website and an Experienced Parent will message back to arrange a telephone chat about parenting. They welcome your questions and stories.
