Thank you to everyone who came out to the Newcomer Info Night: Child & Youth Fair! It was great being able to connect with other children and youth serving organizations across Waterloo Region. We’re also so grateful for everyone who took the time to chat with us at our table – it was lovely to see so many friendly faces.
Big shoutout to our partners Kitchener-Waterloo Multicultural Centre, Kitchener Public Library, Camino Wellbeing + Mental Health, who co-hosted the event with us. We heard members about how much you enjoyed the CYPT Belonging Expo, so we partnered with KWMC and Camino as a way to connect children and youth serving organizations with newcomer families. We look forward to future Community Coordination opportunities that bring people together and increase sense of belonging.
