The Child and Family Pandemic Working Group (CFPWG) continues to meet every 2 weeks to support actions for young people and families through the pandemic with a particular focus on vulnerable youth and families and they continue to see a steady increase in referrals to the sites.
The eligibility criteria and application process for Safe Voluntary Isolation Sites has recently been updated. If you know a person in need of a place to isolate due to COVID-19, please let them know about the Safe Isolation Sites or help them to apply. CLICK HERE for more information.
As the third wave of the pandemic continues, members of the CFPWG are meeting in the coming days with the CYPT Communications Advisory Team to reignite shared messaging regarding child and youth well-being and connecting to supports in our community. Please keep an eye out for more information.
To keep up to date on the work of the CFPWG, and the work of other groups, you can subscribe to their newsletter and message co-chairs Karen and Barb if you have any pandemic-related concerns you would like to bring to the attention of the group.
