Hello, Cambridge community!
I’m so excited to have come on board as Principal at Southwood Secondary School this year. Having started my career with the Waterloo Region District School Board in 2006, I’ve spent the last 14 years dedicated to motivating those around me to focus on the achievement and well-being of all students. From teaching English and History to roles as a Student Success Teacher, Blended Learning Consultant, E-Learning Teacher, and Vice Principal at various schools, I’ve had the privilege of working in many capacities within education.
I’m thrilled to get to know all that Cambridge has to offer and truly connect with this vibrant community. I believe in the power of collaboration, and I’m eager to build strong relationships with students, staff, and families. My goal is to create an environment where we work together to achieve success and support one another. I also welcome any opportunities to collaborate with local organizations and the wider community to strengthen the support and growth of our students – please don’t hesitate to reach out so we can connect the school to the greater Cambridge community!
