Cambridge Self Help Food Bank FREE
The Cambridge Food Bank is running as usual. Please click the above link for more information on their programs.


Carizon FREE, ML
To get food at Carizon’s Community Centres, please call us at the following times and numbers to book you an appointment: Erb West – Call (519) 497-8254 between 12:00 and 3:00 on Monday or Tuesday; Paulander – Call (519) 741-1152 between 12:00 and 3:00 on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday.


Community Nutrition Program FREE
The Community Nutrition Program ensures the continuation of support of our nutrition programs for all students and families in our community when schools are closed.


Food Bank of Waterloo Region
The Food Bank of Waterloo Region has created an online resource map which shows where all emergency food hamper programs are operating. Community members can also call 519-743-5576 for assistance.


Meals on Wheels Home Meal Delivery
If you are sick or self-isolating and need meals delivered to you, Meals on Wheels has expanded to accommodate those who do not have friends or family to help them with grocery shopping and cooking. If you live in Cambridge, Kitchener, North Dumfries, or Waterloo, click the above link or call (519) 772-8787. House of Friendship Family Outreach FREE
Family Outreach Workers walk with families to help meet basic needs by problem-solving solutions together, connecting them with services in their community and providing direct support when necessary.


Ray of Hope FREE, ML
Provides community dinner meals. Located at 230-659 King St E, Kitchener, ON N2G 2M4. Call (519) 578-8018.


St. John’s Soup Kitchen FREE
Provides community lunch meals. Located at 97 Victoria St. N, Kitchener, ON N2H5C1. Call (519) 745-8928.


Wilmot Family Resource Centre
Wilmot Family Resource Centre has been identified as a vital service and will continue to offer food support to the Townships of Wilmot and Wellesley during this time. Only boxed prepacked hampers are available during the pandemic crisis. Delivery can be arranged if needed.



Community Housing Access Centre
Affordable Community Housing gives individuals and families with low to moderate income households the opportunity to rent a housing unit at a lower cost. Call (519) 575-4833.


Community Supports for the Vulnerable
A list of community supports for the most vulnerable, including available washrooms, cooling and warming spaces, emergency shelters, places providing meals, and more.


Emergency Shelters and Transitional Housing

Wilmot Family Resource Centre
(New Hamburg and surrounding area) – The Wilmot Family Resource Centre has a wide range of programs and services related to food assistance, employment and financial services, family violence prevention, parenting and family support. Call (519) 622-2731.



House of Friendship FREE
The House of Friendship offers services related to addiction treatment, food assistance, housing, and they offer various resources for families living on low-income. Select the link above or call 519-742-8327.
