2SLGBTQIA+ Youth Research Opportunity

In collaboration with the Bridge Lab at University of Toronto, Camino Wellbeing + Mental Health, Spectrum, and Woolwich Pride, we are hosting a youth engagement summit where 2S/LGBTQIA+ youth get to help us make sense of information about 2S/LGBTQIA+ youth in the Waterloo Region. Please see the attached flyer for additional information and how to register for one of the sessions. We are inviting 2S/LGBTQIA+ youth (ages 14-18) to join us in sharing stories so that we could better understand ways to enhance the overall wellbeing of 2S/LGBTQIA+ youth in the Waterloo Region through research.

This project has been approved by the University of Toronto Ethics Review Board (Protocol #48466). Participation is completely voluntary. Each session will last about 3-hours. A meal and drinks will be provided at the session. You will be given $40 honorarium for your time.

We would appreciate it if you could share information about these sessions with 2S/LGBTQIA+ youth who you think could benefit from participating in one of these sessions. They can follow this link to view more information and register for one of the in-person youth engagement sessions:
